PROVIDENCE -- AIDS Project Rhode Island will hold its annual Red Ribbon Community Service Awards dinner tonight at the Rhode Island Convention Center. This year's recipients are:
This year's honorary chairs are Lincoln and Stephanie Chafee. The event will be hosted by community activist and host of Amazing Women, Deb Ruggiero. The gala dinner, followed by a live auction, will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the convention center's Ballroom A on the fifth floor. Founded in 1985 by a small group of doctors, nurses, and community activists, AIDS Project Rhode Island, now a division of Family Service of RI, is the state's first AIDS service organization. |
