The woman's indentity has not been released pending notification of the family. The name of the driver is also being withheld pending results of Cranston Police Department's accident reconstruction team investigation. Cranston police responded to the area of 1275 Reservoir Ave. yesterday around 4:50 p.m. for a report of a woman hit by a car, the police said in a news release. The woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital but died shortly after arriving at the hospital, according to the police. |
