The URI Afro-Cuban Jazz Combo led by Eric Paltz and The Miles Smiles Jazz Group led by Eric Hofbauer perform tonight at 8.

The performance will be at University of Rhode Island's Fine Arts Center Concert Hall in Kingston.

For the more athletically inclined, there's another performance tonight at URI -- the men's basketball team will take on Hartford in the 2008 Hoop Group Philly Classic, at the Ryan Center. Game time: 7 p.m.
