PROVIDENCE -- Providence Police are investigating a double shooting last night in the Manton Heights public housing development that left two local men injured, one in serious condition. Bruce Moten, 19, of 99 Bowdoin St., was shot three times in the abdomen and lower back. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition, according to the police. Kyron Ledo, 19, of 275 Amherst St., was shot once in the right arm. He was also taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was treated and released. Around 11:34 p.m., the police said, a shooter or shooters fired more than 10 shots near 57 Salmon St., a road that goes into the housing development. It is unknown how many shooters there were, but the police said shots had been fired from two guns of different calibers. The police said Moten was sitting in a car when he was shot.
