PROVIDENCE -- Project Promise Soldier launched an online fundraiser today. Donations are tax deductible and will help service members who return home and need assistance. Project Promise is the brainchild of Joseph Anthony, a former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne and Vietnam Era Veteran. Anthony and business partner Richard Mullaney made the mission of their company, Premier Legends, to support American troops and care for wounded veterans. Beneficiaries of the Project Promise kick-off will be: The Rhode Island VA, Soldier's Angels/ValourIT, and The New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans. To participate in the fundraiser, see Project Promise Soldier's Web site. |
