PROVIDENCE -- Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline will be collecting food donations this afternoon to make food baskets for needy families.

Turkeys, canned goods and other food products can be dropped off at Cicilline's house, 702 Elmgrove Ave., between 4 and 8 p.m.

This will be the Mayor's 18th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive on Monday.

The food baskets will be turned over to Amos House, Camp Street Community Ministries, John Hope Settlement House, Mount Hope Community Baptist Church, Mount Hope Neighborhood Association, Nickerson House, St. Vincent De Paul Ministry and other nonprofit agencies that serve those in need.
