BRISTOL -- Political commentator and best-selling author David Gergen will discuss the election result today as part of Roger Williams University's Civil Discourse lecture series. Gergen -- who served in the Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton administrations -- will speak at 5:30 p.m. at the university's recreation center gymnasium on the Bristol Campus, One Old Ferry Road. Gergen is the director of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. The event is free, but reserved tickets are required. To reserve a ticket, call (401) 254-3067. Remaining tickets, if any, will be made available at the box office right before the lecture. |
