Nicholas Manocchio, the nephew of reputed New England Mafia leader Luigi "Baby Shacks'' Manocchio, was arrested this morning in connection with a labor racketeering investigation. Manocchio, 55, is expected to appear before Magistrate Judge Lincoln D. Almond at 2:30 p.m. in U.S. District Court in Providence, when the details of the charges will be revealed. The arrest is connected to an undercover FBI investigation that recently led to criminal charges against Harold Tillinghast. Tillinghast and Manocchio have been employed at the Laborers International Union of North America headquarters on South Main Street, Providence. -- With reports from Journal staff writers W.
