Journal photo / Kathy Borchers Douglas Young, 4, is delighted to try out the driver's seat of a fire truck under the supervision of Matthew DelBonis, from Rescue 2. Firefighters from Warwick's Ladder 1, Engine 9 and Rescue 2 were at Drum Rock Early Childhood Center in Warwick this morning, teaching the 107 students, ages 3 to 5, about fire safety. They showed the kids the fire trucks and gear during the hour-long session supervised by principal Kathryn Keenan.
