gloomy news from some economists , who claim that Rhode Island is in for a long period of high unemployment and falling real estate prices. There's also a story about the race for U.S. Senate between incumbent Democrat Sen. Jack Reed, Republican Robert Tingle, a pit boss at Foxwoods, and write-in candidate Christopher Young, who lost the Democratic primary to Reed.
