The jury in the Roger Williams Medical Center corruption case gets back to its deliberations this morning after getting the case yesterday.

The jury spent about six hours considering the guilt or innocence of former hospital executives Robert A. Urciuoli and Frances P. Driscoll before leaving at 4:30 p.m. yesterday without reaching a verdict.

Urciuoli and Driscoll are charged with stealing the honest services of former state Sen. John Celona.

The jury of nine women and three men got the case after listening to instructions on the law from Chief U.S. District Judge Mary M. Lisi.

Lisi indicated at the end of the day, when she sent the jurors home, that they had spent the day looking through some of the hundreds of exhibits in the case.

The jury is supposed to return to the courthouse at 9 a.m.
