Twelve-month-old Peri Skovron, of Johnston, acts like a baby chick during the preschool Halloween parade at Barnes & Noble in Smithfield today. Her mom, Sheila Skovron, made the costume from two feather boas, a white knit cap with red cloth attached and a pair of latex dishwashing gloves.
