As of this afternoon, the dragon boat races in Pawtucket tomorrow are a go. The event is generally rain or shine, but that could change tomorrow if severe weather arrives early, according to Lorraine Provencher, a program coordinator for the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council. Provencher said that if the race is cancelled, a recorded message will be left on the line for the dragon boat race: (401) 724-2200. The event is at the School Street Pier, Tim Healey Way, Pawtucket, part of a day's events scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. |
