WOONSOCKET -- Mt. St. Charles Academy announced it was cancelling several athletic events that had been scheduled for today because of the rain. The varsity boys' soccer game, set for 3:30 p.m. against Hendricken, has been moved to Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m. on the Lower Field. On the junior high level, the cross-country meet, the girls soccer game at Burrilllville Middle School, and the boys' soccer game also have been canceled.
