Providence Roller Derby's championship bout -- Shake, Rattle and Roll -- kicks off at 8 tonight. The final bout of the season pits the Mob Squad of Providence against the Old Money Honeys of Newport. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the bout begins at 8 p.m. at the Bank of America Skating Center, at 2 Kennedy Plaza, downtown Providence. Tickets are $13 at the door. Music is provided by DJ's B.I.Z. and the COUNT, according to the web site. Music at halftime will be by the Providence Morons. And an after party will be held at Local 121, at the corner of Matthews and Washington streets. |
