A recall has been issued for seven kinds of Mr. Brown brand products that are made in China due to possible melamine contamination, the state Health Department said today.

The department passed along the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's announcement that the products are being recalled by King Car Food Industrial Co. Ltd.

The Mr. Brown products under recall are:

* Mandheling blend instant coffee (3-in-1).

* Arabica instant coffee (3-in-1).

* Blue Mountain blend instant coffee (3-in-1).

* Caramel macchiato instant coffee (3-in-1).

* French vanilla instant coffee (3-in-1).

* Mandhling blend instant coffee (3-in-1).

* Milk tea (3-in-1).

Also, the FDA advised people not to eat White Rabbit Creamy Candy because of high melanine levels.

People should not consume any of the above products and stores should remove them from shelves, the Health Department news release stated. There have not been any reported illnesses linked to consumption of any of these products in the United States.
