Recent rains and lower demand with the end of the summer season today led local water districts in Narragansett and South Kingstown to lift restrictions that had been in place since July 21. The restrictions had affected users of the Narragansett water system, the United Water-Rhode Island system and South Kingstown's South Shore and Middlebridge water systems, the towns said in a joint news release. -- Journal staff writer Randal Edgar |
