PROVIDENCE -- A man who was stabbed a week ago, on Althea Street in the West End, has died, the police disclosed today. Detective Capt. Hugh T. Clements Jr. said details would be made public tonight. The death represents the city's 11th homicide of 2008. -- Journal staff writer Gregory Smith
