On the political side: A tribute to Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, who is in Denver for the Democratic National Convention. Caroline Kennedy Shlossberg, daughter of slain President John F. Kennedy, will lead the tribute, which includes a video -- and perhaps an appearance by Ted himself, who is 76 and fighting brain cancer. Jim Leach, a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, is also slated to speak. And remarks by Michelle Obama, the wife of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, will help headline the night. They're some of the highlights scheduled on the nominating convention's prime-time schedule for Day One. See the full schedule of tonight's events and check in with projo.com and The Journal, whose Washington bureau chief John E. Mulligan is reporting from Denver. On the sports side: You can watch the Red Sox and the Yankees commence another round in their age-old rivalry -- and read what projo Sox writers report on tonight's game. The Yankees-Sox battle is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. CommentsLeave a commentPlease be civil. Vicious comments, personal attacks and profanity won't be published.
