SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Police in the Turks and Caicos islands say several witnesses have spotted a man and his 7-year-old daughter he allegedly kidnapped from Boston earlier this week. Sgt. Calvin Chase says employees at an auto store and at a 7-11 convenience store identified Clark Rockefeller and his daughter, Reigh, after police showed them their pictures. He said that Rockefeller apparently were seen twice on Thursday. No one has reported seeing them again. Rockefeller and his daughter had been last seen at Grand Central Terminal in New York on Sunday just hours after he was allegedly snatched her during a supervised visit in Boston. Boston police spokeswoman Elaine Driscoll says they have not been able to verify whether the sightings. -- The Associated Press |
