A former nursing assistant accused of sexually assaulting an elderly patient is scheduled for a bail hearing today. Doyle was a nursing assistant at St. Elizabeth off Grandview Avenue. The facility, which serves 120 people, offers nursing, rehabilitative and special-care living for people with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Doyle faces first- and second-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct, according to East Greenwich Deputy chief William Higgins. His bail hearing is scheduled for today in Kent County District Court. |
