NORTH KINGSTOWN -- A toddler has drowned in a fish pond outside a North Kingstown home while he was being watched by a babysitter. The police said the 1-year-old drowned this morning. Authorities have not released the boy's name. Officers performed CPR on the toddler. He was taken to South County Hospital and pronounced dead. -- The Associated Press
