School is in for Providence students, and one of their best resources is extending its hours. The Providence Public Library's Central Library, at 150 Empire St., will be open Sundays Sept. 7 through May 17. Doors will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Aside from the reference material, the books, the music, the videos and the library's best resource -- the librarians -- there will be programs for adults and families, book discussions, exhibits and other programs. See the library's Web site for a complete list of hours and programs. |
