EAST PROVIDENCE -- Traffic that would pass through the intersection of Taunton Avenue and Ivy Street will be re-routed until Monday morning as a precaution because of the proximity of a deteriorating building, the police said. Local traffic will be allowed through, but not other vehicles. The police said the building inspector was at the scene earlier today and noticed some deterioration. -- With reports from Journal staff writer Chloe Thompson
