An East Providence man remains in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital today after the police said he fell yesterday from a Hazard Avenue roof where he was working. Lt. Stephen Enos last night said the call came in at 3:55 p.m. for the injured man at 181 Hazard Ave. Enos said a construction company was working on a new garage's roof when Jose Lourenco, 47, of East Providence, tripped and fell and landed on his head on the pavement below. He was taken by fire personnel to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence for his head injuries. CommentsLeave a commentPlease be civil.
