Another cool day with the National Weather Service forecasting a high temperature of just 78 degrees. There's a chance we'll see some rain and maybe a fierce thunderstorm today -- hail, high winds, lightning. Otherwise expect cloudy partly cloudy skies and fairly calm west winds.

Rain may continue into the night, with more possible thunderstorms and lightning as the temperature drops to about 60 degrees.

Back to summer tomorrow, with sunny skies and temperatures reaching about 84 degrees.

There's a slight chance that we'll see more rain tomorrow night. Otherwise, temperatures should drop to about 60 with mild, southern winds.

Another chance of showers Sunday, with cloudy skies and temperatures reaching just about 80 degrees.Sunday night may bring rain, too, with thunderstorms possible. Temperatures should be in the low 60s.

The rain isn't reserved for the weekend, for a change -- of course, Monday is a holiday for Rhode Islanders and Rhode Islanders only; it's Victory Day.

That being the case, it's not really a surprise that it should be wet and cloudy on Monday too. We've got a chance of showers and thunderstorms and temperatures just reaching the high 70s on Monday.

Keep up with the different degrees of precipitation this weekend on projo.com's weather page.
