By Gregory Smith, Journal staff writer A North Providence man who, the state police say, had a record blood-alcohol level last month when he crashed into a sign near Route 95 was arraigned today in District Court, Providence. Stanley Kobierowski, 34, tested after he allegedly crashed into an electronic message board near Providence Place on July 21, had a blood-alcohol level of .489 and then .491, according to the state police. He was charged with drunken driving and resisting arrest and released on personal recognizance last month following a bail hearing at the state police barracks. After today's brief arraignment, Kobierowski hurried out of the courtroom without comment. The arraignment had been scheduled for last week but was postponed so Kobierowski could receive alcohol treatment, according to the attorney general's office. Its great that charging with drunken driving and resisting arrest by this we can have control on them.In this issue police should have good recionsibilites.
