In time for Memorial Day weekend, the ferry running between Providence and Newport is scheduled to resume trips tomorrow after being out of action for two days, according to the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority. The scheduled that resumes tomorrow will be in place until Oct. 16. The ferry is set to run a regular weekday schedule on Monday, Memorial Day. -- projo.com staff writer Michael P. McKinney |
