It’s only a drill. The Providence Emergency Management Agency and the state Department of Health are scheduled to conduct an emergency disaster exercise. More than 150 emergency response officials from the city and state will get the chance to practice for a real emergency. Funding for the exercise comes from the Department of Health via the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The drill is scheduled for tomorrow morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mount Pleasant High School, 434 Mount Pleasant Ave. -- projo.com staff writer Brandie M. Jefferson |
