Tell-Tale, a thriller based on author Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" and whose producers backed Gladiator and Top Gun, will launch principal photography on Monday, with locations expected to include Burrillville and Providence. The production is slated to continue through April, Steven Feinberg, executive director of the Rhode Island Film & TV Office, said in a news release. Slated to star in it are Josh Lucas, Lena Headey and Emmy-winning Brian Cox. Ridley Scott, who directed Gladiator, and his brother Tony Scott, who directed Top Gun, are producing the movie. The movie will tell the story of a man whose transplanted heart "leads him on a dangerous journey to find who murdered its donor," the film and television office statement said. -- projo.com staff writer Michael P.
