With temperatures in the high 40s, it may seem like forever ago, but we've had some very cold days and nights in Rhode Island this winter. The facility closes early in the morning, meaning most of its clients spend their days outside. A statement from the shelter says it has received requests from people for gloves and socks, as we move toward the middle of winter.
